Bride #1: The Photographer

Pffftttt it has indeed been a while since the last update. Banyak sangat dah hutang for wedding reviews ni. Anywayyy, here's hoping that this post will somewhat help the B2Bs to decide who to hire for their wedding photographer.

I came to know about this photographer from Bride #3 when she casually mentioned it in our group chat. Looking at their website, I was not really impressed. The photos were heavily edited that they look superficial. I wanted something 'clean and fresh'. So I approached a few other names like the The Whiteroom, Afnan Omar, Bak Hafiz, Daniel Zain, Shutterspeak....just to name a few. But they were either not available on my date or, well, a tad too overpriced for my budget.

Then I stumbled upon the 'rejected-photographer's' new photos on their FB page. It wasn't like their previous work, the ones which were heavily edited. Figured it was fated for us to work together and so the 'magic' happened...

Wedding OP & Albums

Hellowww people, this is a short and sweet update of our wedding OP and the albums. The chosen OP is Elinazz Photography. I found the contacts on the Internet by just googling around hehe. The 1st time we booked Elinazz was for our E-Day, and since hubby + me were satisfied with the service and outcome, we straight away booked Elinazz again for all our wedding events.

With our OP

The owner is Abg Nazim, always early, has a very calm attitude, so it helps for the easily-annoyed person like me hehe, dia cool aje all the time, best2. Plus, he makes great suggestions and softly remind me what I need to do next and next. For example, I'm the one yg selalu sgt lupe hand bouquet (few times tertinggal dlm bilik la, kat pelamin la), pegang tgn husband and most importantly SMILE to the camera! Oh, thank God.

The albums are nice too, coffee table book type. Heavy glass album cover and the pages are thick hard photo paper, more like board paper kut. Sleek and clean. Kalau air tumpah atas mane2 page pon bole lap, tak rosak. Pics softcopy are provided for each event in DVD. All customized.

Flora Terrace, Hampshire Place

Photos from my videographer FB's page.

What a lovely place to hold an event like this. I love their dais! The black and white panel just transformed the whole mood. And the colors were so so gorgeous!

On self note, video and photos are ready for collection. Look out for huge updates from us.

Bride #2 Planning

I am desperately trying to find time to write. Supposedly I update something last weekend but then I took a look around such pigsty of a house and my writing took a back seat. Finally tonight...here it is.

My guy and I got engaged last October on my birthday =), after 8 months of being together. Few weeks after that, we set our wedding date. Honestly, I can't believe we're getting married this soon haha.

I'm very much busy at work and speedy wedding preparations are ongoing too. My checklist for the wedding is 5 pages long now, version 6 some more huhu (Me being an absurdly annoying control freak and I love it!)

Our strategy is like this:
Me and fiance are setting off with the main keys of wedding prep, we increase our speed at a constant acceleration. Once we get half-way there (with solid foundation in place), we'll start decelerating, at the same rate, so that by the Big Day, we have slowed down to zero speed and just let ourselves enjoy our own wedding! Kene btul2 plan sbb mmg jenis x suke serabut last minute. Working in Kuantan does not help at all because all my wedding vendors are based in Kuala Lumpur and Seremban. Biar bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian *Doa...Amin

My Ta-da (DONE) List
My To-do (DEC/JAN) List
  • 2 x Reception Dress - Appointment set on Christmas Day
  • F&B Catering - Finalize & Booking
  • IKEA shopping for DIY wedding deco
  • Pelamin & makeup - Appointment set on New Year's Day

Fuhhh..still a long way to go.
Stay tuned for more updates, mucho love!
